These terms cover buying and using VibeVox. Please read them before you buy — by installing or buying VibeVox you accept them.

Who we are

VibeVox is made and sold by ALEXEEV DIGITAL LAB, a Norwegian sole proprietorship (enkeltpersonforetak), organisation number 927 707 063, registered in Norway. You can reach us through the support form on this site.

What VibeVox is

VibeVox is a dictation program for Windows. It turns speech into text on your own computer and types the result into whatever application you are working in. Optional features can send text to an AI service to translate, rewrite or proofread it; what that involves is described on this site and in our privacy policy.

Your licence

When you buy VibeVox you get a personal, non-exclusive licence to use it on your own computers — up to two at a time — for as long as you wish. You may not resell it, rent it out, or give your licence key to other people. The program itself remains ours.

Plans and prices

VibeVox Free costs nothing and stays free. VibeVox Pro is €29, paid once, and is yours permanently. Pro + AI is a first payment of €31.99 — that is Pro together with the first month of the AI subscription at €2.99 instead of €5.99 — and €5.99 a month after that. The reduced first month is a one-off introductory price and does not apply again if you subscribe a second time. The AI subscription can also be bought on its own, at €5.99 a month, by anyone who already owns Pro: it requires Pro and is not sold without it, and the reduced first month belongs to the Pro + AI bundle and does not apply to it. All prices include VAT: in Europe you pay exactly the amount shown. In some countries, such as the United States, local sales tax is added at checkout according to where you live.

Payment

Our orders and payments are handled by Paddle.com Market Ltd, which acts as the Merchant of Record: Paddle is the seller on the transaction, takes the payment and charges any VAT or sales tax that applies. Your purchase is therefore also subject to Paddle’s own buyer terms. We never see or store your card details. Your licence key is sent to the email address you give at checkout.

The AI subscription

The AI subscription renews by itself every month at €5.99 until you cancel it — on the same terms whether it came with Pro + AI or you added it later to a Pro you already owned. You can cancel at any time; the cancellation takes effect at the end of the month you have already paid for, and the AI features keep working until then. Cancelling does not touch Pro — Pro is bought outright and remains yours. If we ever change the subscription price we will tell you by email beforehand, and you are free to cancel.

Refunds

You can ask for your money back within 14 days of buying. Our refund page sets out how, and it forms part of these terms.

Updates

Updates to VibeVox Pro are included for as long as we go on making them; we do not charge for a new version. We may change, add or remove features over time. If we ever stop developing VibeVox, the copy you have keeps working — it runs on your own computer and does not need us to be online. The AI features are the exception: they run on our servers and need an active subscription.

Beta software

VibeVox is currently in beta. It is provided as it is, and things can break. Please tell us when they do — the support form is the fastest way to reach us.

Liability

VibeVox is a tool for producing text, and we cannot promise that it will always recognise speech correctly or that a translation will be right. Please check anything that matters before you rely on it. So far as the law allows, our liability for any claim connected with VibeVox is limited to the amount you paid us for it. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under Norwegian law, or any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Norwegian law, and disputes belong before the Norwegian courts. If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the EEA, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory rules of your own country, and you may also bring a case there.
